Argentine influencers among six feared dead in Rio helicopter crash

Friends and associates are mourning the potential deaths of Argentinian influencer Gaspar 'Gaspi' Prim Díaz and producer Lucas Vignale, who were reportedly on one of two helicopters that collided in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday. Six people are believed to have died in the crash, which occurred in the Recreio dos Bandeirantes neighborhood. Authorities have not yet officially confirmed the identities of the victims.

Prim Díaz, 23, known for his humorous and sometimes irreverent YouTube videos, had gained significant attention for participating in the boxing event 'La Velada del Año' organized by Ibai Llanos. He had also announced a new video series. Vignale, 29, had produced videos for artists like Bizarrap, Trueno, and J Balvin. Vignale had recently shared a photo of Prim Díaz on Instagram.

Spanish influencer Ibai Llanos expressed his grief on X, formerly Twitter, calling the incident a "terrible misfortune" and "absolute sadness." Another Argentinian YouTuber, Coscu, also posted a farewell message to Gaspi, recalling his friend's motivation and healthy habits, lamenting life's unfairness.

The Brazilian Air Force's Center for Research and Prevention of Aeronautical Accidents is investigating the cause of the collision.
