Argentine President Milei meets Ecuador's Noboa, heads to Colombia inauguration

Argentine President Javier Milei embarked on a trip to Quito to hold a meeting with his Ecuadorian counterpart, Daniel Noboa. The agenda included a floral offering at the Plaza de la Independencia and a working meeting with Noboa, attended by Milei's sister, Karina Milei, and Foreign Minister Pablo Quirno.

During the summit, both presidents were scheduled to sign several bilateral agreements. Ecuador's ambassador to Argentina, Diana Salazar, indicated these pacts would focus on extradition, cybersecurity, air services, the fight against organized crime, and the automotive sector. Milei was also slated to meet with automotive sector representatives later that day.

Following his engagements in Ecuador, Milei was set to travel to Cali, Colombia. There, he will attend the inauguration ceremony for the newly elected president, Abelardo de la Espriella, on Friday. The Argentine delegation planned to return to Buenos Aires early Saturday morning.
