Argentine striker Luciano Nequecaur officially presented at Libertad

Libertad, a Paraguayan football club, has officially welcomed Argentine striker Luciano Nequecaur, addressing their long-standing need for a strong forward.

Nequecaur, born in Buenos Aires on July 19, 1992, arrives at Libertad from Sport Boys of Peru. During his tenure there, he played 45 official matches and scored 16 goals, with 7 of those goals coming this year. His arrival is seen as a significant boost to Libertad's attacking capabilities.

The "Guma," as the team is known, has been actively seeking a classic No. 9 to enhance their offensive presence and effectiveness in the penalty area. Coach Nelson Haedo Valdez, a historic former striker himself, has brought in Nequecaur to fulfill this crucial role.

Nequecaur's career began in the youth divisions of Lanús in Argentina. He has since developed an extensive international resume, playing for clubs such as All Boys, Olimpo, and Nueva Chicago in Argentina. His international experience also includes stints with Stranraer in Scotland, Marítimo in Portugal, Danubio and Fénix in Uruguay, Huachipato in Chile, and Mexican clubs Venados de Yucatán and Alebrijes de Oaxaca.
