Aris heads to Italy for preseason training

The Greek football club Aris has embarked on its journey to Brescia, Italy, to commence the primary phase of its preseason preparations. The team departed early Tuesday morning, with their destination set for the foothills of the Italian Alps.

Aris will conduct their training in the Lombardy region until July 31, when they are scheduled to return to Thessaloniki. The squad's travel party includes recent signings Matar Diamé and Sanoussy Sylla. Tom Dele-Bashiru, however, remained in Thessaloniki due to a minor administrative issue and is expected to join the team in Italy by July 22.

Several younger players, including Sitaras, Zytros, Karamanlis, and Atreidis, did not travel with the main squad. Only Antoniadis has advanced to the next stage of preparation following his performance in the initial training sessions. During their Italian camp, Aris is slated to play two friendly matches: one against Atalanta on July 26 and another against Monza on July 30. They will also face Napoli in a friendly on August 12.
