Armed Forces Recover Property in Monte Sinaí

Ecuador's Armed Forces, through the Navy, have recovered a property in the Monte Sinaí sector that was allegedly occupied without authorization.

The military operation, conducted on July 20, 2026, was part of ongoing efforts to reinforce public order and safeguard private property rights. During the operation, military personnel responded to an alert regarding the irregular occupation of a property.

After verifying the documentation presented by the owner and coordinating with relevant authorities, the military provided security during the execution of the legal procedure. As a result, the property was recovered, and the individuals occupying it without authorization were removed.

The Armed Forces stated that these actions contribute to maintaining public order, ensuring respect for the legal framework, and strengthening citizen security. Police information suggests that criminal gang members often seize such properties for illicit activities.
