Army Chief Ashok Raj Sigdel Visits Rasuwa and Nuwakot to Monitor Flood Rescue Efforts

Nepal Army Chief General Ashok Raj Sigdel travelled to Rasuwa and Nuwakot to monitor search and rescue operations following the Bhotekoshi flood.

During his visit, Sigdel inspected rescue work inside hydropower tunnels and visited other affected areas. He directed the agencies involved to maintain effective coordination and cooperation while continuing the search with high morale.

The Nepal Army is leading operations at several hydropower projects where people are believed to have been trapped by the flood. International teams and technical experts have also joined the effort.
