Arsenal Completes Transfer of Greek International Christos Tzolis

Arsenal has secured a new attacking reinforcement with the transfer of Greek international Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge. The 24-year-old winger officially joined the English champions, though financial details of the deal were not disclosed by the club. English media reports suggest the transfer fee amounts to 40 million euros.

Tzolis, who primarily played on the left wing in Belgium, recorded an impressive 17 goals and 23 assists in 36 league appearances last season. He is seen as a direct replacement for Leandro Trossard, who moved to Beşiktaş for 20 million euros.

"It's absolutely incredible to sign for such a big club, the champions of England. I am proud to become part of this team," Tzolis stated. "When my agent told me it might be possible, I was thrilled." He previously played in England for Norwich City from 2021 to 2024, but spent significant time on loan at Twente and Fortuna Düsseldorf.

Having started his career at PAOK, Tzolis moved to Norwich at the age of 19. He has earned 34 caps for the Greek national team, scoring nine goals. "I am a direct player, I aim for goals or assists. I am always hungry for scoring or passing to teammates. And I can say that I work hard for the team, also in defense," he added.
