Art workshops engage children in Larache during festival

An association in Larache, Morocco, organized art workshops for 120 children as part of the fourth "Walad Al Madina" festival. The event, held at the Lexus Cultural Center, aimed to introduce children to artistic expression through practical engagement.

The workshops covered three areas: visual arts, photography and cinema, and artistic animation. Hakim Al-Harraq led the visual arts session, focusing on the city's gate as a theme. Anwar Al-Yahyaoui guided children through the basics of photography and cinema, teaching them about camera angles and visual storytelling. Khalisa Al-Samadi facilitated the animation and games workshop for children under 12, emphasizing interactive and educational activities.

Aya Al-Harthi coordinated the workshops, ensuring smooth operations amid enthusiastic participation. Children received certificates and symbolic gifts, celebrating their engagement. Parents expressed satisfaction with the activities and the quality of instruction, requesting more such initiatives in the future.

The festival aims to foster artistic and cultural development among youth, with the workshops providing a platform for children to showcase their talents and engage in meaningful educational and recreational pursuits.
