Assault on Municipal Officer with Stones and Sticks in Kuşadası: Two Arrested

In Kuşadası, Aydın, a municipal police officer was injured after being attacked with stones and sticks by two women who were begging with their children. The confrontation escalated when officers intervened to warn the women about their activities.

The incident took place on Atatürk Boulevard. Municipal police officer E.A. and his colleagues were on patrol when they identified Esma Sayır and Esra Kaymak begging with their children. When the officer issued a warning, an argument ensued, which quickly turned into a physical altercation. Reports indicate that the two women then attacked the municipal officer with stones and sticks.

The injured officer, E.A., was taken to Kuşadası State Hospital by ambulance for treatment. Following the attack, police launched an investigation to apprehend the suspects. Esma Sayır and Esra Kaymak were later apprehended by police in the garden of a high school and taken into custody.
