Atlético Finds New Offensive Reinforcement: Kang-In Lee Arrives from PSG

Atlético Madrid has secured a significant attacking reinforcement with the signing of South Korean international Kang-In Lee from Paris Saint-Germain. The 25-year-old attacking midfielder has penned a five-year deal with the Spanish club, committing his future until June 30, 2031.

While Atlético has not officially disclosed the transfer fee, sources close to the negotiations suggest it is in the region of 40 million euros. Lee departs Paris after three seasons, during which he amassed twelve trophies, including the last two Champions League titles, though he never fully established himself as a regular starter under coach Luis Enrique.

The Parisian club expressed gratitude for Lee's contributions to their European successes. The South Korean, a former Valencia player, had been on Atlético's radar for several months as they sought to strengthen their attack following Antoine Griezmann's departure. Lee becomes Atlético's third acquisition of the summer, following the arrivals of Danish midfielder Morten Hjulmand and Spanish full-back Alejandro Grimaldo.
