Attacker Flees: Eight Injured at Party, 16-Year-Old Attacked with Knife

A party in Egling, Upper Bavaria, turned violent, resulting in eight injuries and a manhunt for an assailant. The incident began when an unknown individual allegedly struck a 24-year-old man in the head without provocation. As the victim fell, the attacker reportedly used a knife to injure his 16-year-old friend on the forearm.

Further altercations led to additional injuries among partygoers, with a total of eight individuals requiring medical attention and subsequent hospitalization. It remains unclear if any of the injuries were critical. Police arrived to find a chaotic scene with an agitated and aggressive crowd of approximately 700 attendees.

During a controlled evacuation of the venue, several individuals were restrained or taken into custody. Despite an extensive search, the primary suspect managed to escape. Police are currently reviewing video footage and appealing to witnesses for information to aid their investigation into the assault.
