Attempted murder: Two arrested after shots fired at vehicle in Ingolstadt

Two 23-year-old men have been arrested in Ingolstadt, Germany, on suspicion of attempted murder following a shooting incident. The suspects were apprehended during an immediate search operation after shots were fired at a vehicle at an intersection on Friday evening.

According to police, the driver of the targeted vehicle was stopped at a red light when the shots were fired. The vehicle sustained two small bullet holes in the rear left window. Fortunately, the driver was unharmed in the attack. Approximately 18 police patrols responded to the scene shortly after the incident, which occurred around 9 p.m.

During a search of one of the suspect's residences, investigators discovered and seized several weapons. The two German nationals were subsequently presented to a judge, who ordered them to be held in custody pending further investigation into the attempted homicide charges.
