Attempts to twist chief justice’s nation-building call are hypocritical, NHIA deputy CEO says

Anatu Anne Seidu Bogobiri, the National Health Insurance Authority’s deputy chief executive officer, has rejected attempts to recast Chief Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie’s call for national development as a partisan intervention.

Bogobiri defended the chief justice’s recent appeal for Ghanaians to support efforts to build and develop the country. She said interpreting the remarks through a political lens was unfair.

She described those attempts as “mischievous” and “hypocritical,” according to the report. The comments came in response to criticism of the chief justice’s call.
