ATU Details Public Transport to FIL Lima 2026

The International Book Fair (FIL) Lima 2026 is set to open its doors from July 22 to August 6 at the Jockey Exhibition Center in Santiago de Surco. Anticipating a large influx of visitors, the Urban Transport Authority for Lima and Callao (ATU) has outlined authorized public transport routes to facilitate access to the event.

Attendees can reach the fair using conventional transport routes, the Red Corridor, and connections with the Metropolitano and Lima Metro Line 1. The ATU highlighted that 39 public transport routes operate along Panamericana Sur avenue, near the main entrance to the exhibition center. These routes connect various districts, including Carabayllo, Comas, Independencia, Los Olivos, San Juan de Lurigancho, San Juan de Miraflores, Villa María del Triunfo, Villa El Salvador, La Molina, Breña, Callao, Jesús María, La Victoria, Lince, and Pueblo Libre.

Visitors using these conventional routes should disembark at the "Puerta del Centro" stop, located on both sides of Panamericana Sur, directly opposite the fairgrounds. Several authorized companies, such as ETUL4 S.A., El Rápido S.A., Transportes Huáscar S.A., and Pegasso Express S.A., operate these services. For those opting for the Red Corridor, buses run along Javier Prado avenue. Travelers from Ate or La Molina can alight at the Evitamiento stop and walk to the venue, while those from Callao or San Miguel can get off at the Jockey stop. Transfers to the Red Corridor are available from the Metropolitano at Vía Expresa and from Metro Line 1 at Avenida Aviación.

The ATU also reminded attendees to use only authorized taxis and to verify driver and vehicle permits through the ATU's official platforms before booking a ride. The fair is expected to draw significant crowds, making these transport details crucial for attendees.
