Augusta Zuokė celebrates 40th birthday with balloons, not flowers

Violinist Augusta Zuokė marked her 40th birthday with a heartwarming and unconventional celebration, opting for a sea of colorful balloons over traditional floral arrangements.

I simply asked guests to bring balloons because we have a small daughter. We brought them home, so she was very happy.

Instead of bouquets, Zuokė asked her guests to bring balloons. This thoughtful gesture was inspired by her young daughter, Agata, who has a particular fondness for them. The birthday girl wanted the balloons to bring extra joy to their home.

Guests heeded the request, filling the Zuokų residence with a vibrant display. While a published photograph showed only a few balloons, Augusta shared that their home was brimming with happiness and many more balloons than were visible in the image.

Now the house is full of happiness. We had a lot of balloons, the photo only shows a couple.

Agata, the couple's daughter, was born in early May 2024. She is Augusta's first child and the fourth for politician Artūras Zuokas, who has three adult children from a previous marriage. The couple officially registered their civil marriage in Lithuania on November 15, 2022, after exchanging vows in Italy.
