Aurelius Hospital Negeri Sembilan Launches Advanced Cancer Centre

Aurelius Hospital Negeri Sembilan (AHNS) has marked a significant advancement in cancer care with the inauguration of its Aurelius Cancer Centre. This development positions AHNS as the sole private hospital in Negeri Sembilan providing comprehensive oncology services.

The new center is equipped with a Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator, a state-of-the-art system for high-precision radiation therapy. This technology allows for targeted tumor treatment while minimizing radiation exposure to surrounding healthy tissues, thereby reducing potential side effects and improving the patient's overall treatment experience.

The launch ceremony was graced by the Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz Munawir, and Tuanku Ampuan Besar, Tuanku Aishah Rohani Tengku Besar Mahmud. Tuanku Muhriz Munawir lauded AHNS's investment in facilities and services, emphasizing that health is a fundamental necessity for the well-being of the people and the prosperity of the state. He welcomed the initiative to meet the increasing healthcare demands of the community.

Datuk Amir Firdaus Abdullah, Founder, Chairman, and Group Managing Director of Aurelius Healthcare, stated that the group's vision extends beyond infrastructure expansion to enhancing capabilities for evolving healthcare needs. Since joining the Aurelius network, AHNS has seen its number of consultant doctors grow from 53 to over 100, and its clinical offerings expand from 20 to 37 specialties. This growth ensures patients receive comprehensive, high-quality care closer to home.
