Hongde Energy is making significant strides in its Australian expansion, announcing a strategic partnership through its ZEBRE platform with Greensteel Australia, a prominent green steel manufacturer. The agreement leverages ZEBRE's substantial renewable energy assets in South Australia, including a 437MW capacity, and its energy storage and dispatch capabilities. This integration is designed to support Greensteel Australia in building a world-class, ultra-low emission steel production facility. By ensuring a stable and cost-effective energy supply, the partnership aims to bolster Greensteel's global competitiveness and solidify Hongde Energy's position as a key player in providing integrated energy solutions for high-consumption industries in Australia.

Australia's evolving energy landscape, particularly the government's mandate for new data centers to secure their own renewable energy supply or bear grid upgrade costs, underscores the growing importance of energy storage and renewable integration. Hongde Energy's ZEBRE platform is well-positioned to meet these demands, utilizing major renewable assets like the Templers energy storage project and the Solar River solar-plus-storage hybrid project.
