Authorities investigate triple homicide in Sohag, Egypt

Egyptian authorities are investigating a violent incident in Sohag governorate that resulted in the deaths of a woman and two young men. The investigation began after the discovery of the bodies in the El-Shoush residential area, which caused panic among residents.

Security forces and ambulances were dispatched to the scene, and a security cordon was established around the crime scene. According to eyewitness accounts, the violence started inside a home following an argument between a man and his wife. The dispute escalated, and the man allegedly attacked his wife with a bladed weapon, leading to her death.

Witnesses further reported that the suspect then exited the home, still armed with the weapon, and proceeded to a workshop where two young men were employed. He allegedly attacked them outside the workshop, resulting in their deaths. The victims were reportedly between 22 and 25 years old, and the incident has deeply shocked the local community. Investigators are gathering testimonies from witnesses and examining the crime scene to determine the motive and circumstances surrounding the killings.
