Authorities on Crete issue alert for missing 45-year-old woman from Chania

An alert has been raised across Crete following the disappearance of a 45-year-old woman from Chania. Magda Kryjom, who is of Polish origin and lives in the Chania area, was reported missing by her relatives on Wednesday, August 26th. The "Line of Life" organization, which works to find missing persons, has activated a Silver Alert, a public mobilization campaign aimed at locating her as quickly as possible.

Authorities emphasize that Kryjom's life may be in danger. The public is urged to contact the Silver Alert service immediately with any information that could assist the investigation. The organization stresses that any piece of information, no matter how small, could be crucial in finding her. The national SOS line 1065 is available 24 hours a day for tips.

Magdalena-Barbara Kryjom is described as being approximately 1.75 meters tall with a regular build. She has blue-green eyes and shoulder-length blonde hair, usually worn tied back. Distinctive features include large purplish-red birthmarks on her lower lip and chin, as well as on her hands and feet. These specific details are being circulated to aid in her identification.

She was last seen on August 20th. On that day, she was reportedly wearing a black sleeveless top, gray sweatpants, and sandals. She was also carrying two or three bags, described as blue and black. The search for the missing woman is ongoing, with growing concern for her well-being as each day passes without any sign of her.
