Authorities Search for 17-Year-Old Reported Missing in Villa Elisa

Paraguay’s Public Prosecutor’s Office has activated a search protocol for 17-year-old Jorge Ignacio Domínguez Medina, who was last seen Tuesday in Villa Elisa.

The Villa Elisa zonal prosecutor’s office, led by prosecutor Marco Antonio Amarilla, asked the police station handling the case for a detailed report on the investigative work carried out since the disappearance.

According to the official notice, Domínguez Medina was last seen near Boquerón and Fourth Street No. 105, in Villa Elisa’s 29 de Septiembre neighborhood. He is described as tall and slim, with fair skin, light brown eyes, short hair and dimples on both sides of his face. He was wearing gray shorts, a black jacket and a black cap.

Prosecutors asked police to confirm whether a formal search order had already been issued and, if not, to carry it out immediately. They also set a 24-hour deadline for the police report and instructed officers to follow the protocols for missing people.
