Axe and Knife Fight Between Two Clans in Bucharest Leads to Two Arrests

Two men, aged 33 and 37, have been placed under pre-trial detention in Bucharest following a violent clash in Sector 4. Police investigations indicate the two suspects assaulted two 17-year-old passengers inside a vehicle on June 15, 2026, around 7:00 PM.

The altercation, which occurred on a busy street, reportedly involved the use of blunt objects. Authorities stated that the suspects repeatedly struck the victims, causing fear among bystanders and disturbing public order. Damage was also inflicted upon the involved vehicle. The two arrested men face charges including assault, disturbing public order, and property damage.

Further investigation has been extended to a 17-year-old individual suspected of driving without a license. The case is being handled by the Sector 4 Criminal Investigation Service under the supervision of the local prosecutor's office.

Police intervened after hearing a loud impact noise, initially suspecting a traffic accident. Upon arrival, officers discovered several individuals exhibiting visible signs of violence. Six people were detained at the scene. Among the items found and potentially used in the conflict were a staple gun, an axe, and a knife. Two damaged vehicles were also identified.
