In a particularly emotional revelation, Halimat disclosed that her father had predicted his own death two days prior. "I wish I made more memories with you and hugged you tighter when you told me you’d die," she wrote. She admitted to dismissing his words, believing he was joking. "Someone asked if Daddy ever told me he was going to die. Yes, he did. Two days before, he told me, but I laughed it off. I thought he was joking," she shared.

The following day, Halimat received a call informing her that her father's condition had worsened. Upon her arrival, Baba Suwe was unable to speak. He passed away approximately an hour later. Baba Suwe was a prominent figure in Yoruba cinema, starring in films such as Iru Esin and Baba Londoner. His wife, actress Omoladun Omidina, died in 2009.
