Back on TV: All eyes turn to Stano

TV3’s “Žvaigždžių žvaigždutės” is returning with a new season built around famous parents and the secrets their children reveal about them.

The opening programme features content creator and sports enthusiast Laura Mazalienė with her daughter Aurėja, and the close friends Stanislavas Stavickis-Stano and composer Deivydas Zvonkus with their daughters. Host Marijus Mikutavičius will also publicly congratulate Stano on his wedding.

Stano will appear with two girls, his daughter Joana and his wife Beata’s daughter Amelija. Zvonkus jokes that the girls arrived dressed alike, “as if they were from the same pop group.” The show will also feature stories about the families, including Stano’s admission that he is not particularly observant. “My wife came home with hair extensions and walked around all evening, then got angry and said: ‘So, you don’t see anything?’ Well, I didn’t see anything,” he says.

The programme’s first season consisted of 19 episodes watched by 1.4 million people, including half of Lithuania’s children aged four to seven. Thirty fathers, 23 mothers, four grandparents and 58 children took part. Although families competed to win, their prize money went to the “Išsipildymo akcija” support project rather than to their own budgets. The new season begins on TV3 on Sept. 1 at 7:30 p.m.
