Balochistan High Court Admits Dr. Mahrang Baloch's Plea Against Life Sentence

The Balochistan High Court has agreed to hear Dr. Mahrang Baloch's appeal against a life sentence handed down by an anti-terrorism court. Dr. Baloch, a prominent figure in the Baloch Yakjehti Committee, is challenging the conviction related to the killing of a security personnel member.

A division bench of the high court admitted the petition for a regular hearing and issued notices to the relevant authorities. The additional advocate general represented the provincial government, while advocates for Dr. Baloch presented her case. The life sentence remains in effect until the court rules otherwise.
