BaltCap files claim for more than 40 million euros in damages against auditor

BaltCap, an investment firm owned by Peeter Saks and described as one of the Baltic region’s oldest, has filed a claim seeking slightly more than 40 million euros in damages from PricewaterhouseCoopers.

BaltCap argues that the court should assess whether the auditor ought to have discovered alleged large-scale embezzlement by former employee Šarūnas Stepukonis.
