Bangka Tengah Secures 10th Consecutive Unqualified Audit Opinion

Bangka Tengah Regency has achieved a significant milestone, securing its 10th consecutive Unqualified Opinion (WTP) from the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) for the 2025 fiscal year. This recognition, awarded by the BPK's Bangka Belitung Islands Province office, highlights the regency's consistent adherence to financial reporting standards.

Bupati Algafry Rahman stated that this is the 13th WTP the regency has received since first obtaining the prestigious audit opinion. He stressed that WTP is not merely an achievement but a fundamental obligation and a responsibility that the local government must continuously uphold. The official opinion was formally handed over during the presentation of the Audit Report (LHP) at the BPK office in Pangkalpinang.

Rahman attributed the decade-long success to the diligent work of all regional apparatuses, strong support from the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD), and the consistent guidance and oversight from the BPK. He acknowledged that despite the WTP, the regency's financial management is not flawless. Therefore, the government is committed to implementing all BPK recommendations to enhance future financial governance. The DPRD also commended the BPK for its professional, independent, and objective examination process.
