Bangkok Tops Cathay Pacific Flyers' Favorite Destinations Survey

Bangkok has captured the top spot as the most favored destination among Cathay Pacific Airways members, according to the airline's latest annual online survey. The Thai capital's appeal spans its vibrant street food scene, world-class hospitality, energetic nightlife, fine dining options, and exceptional shopping.

"Bangkok has it all, plus character in abundance," Cathay Pacific stated in the survey results. The airline, which boasts 13 million members, polled its members on their preferred destinations, hotels, and restaurants. Other cities shortlisted for favorite destinations included London, Sydney, and Tokyo.

In a separate category, Shenzhen emerged as the preferred choice for long weekend getaways. The Chinese city was recognized for its diverse attractions, ranging from galleries and spas to ancient villages and green spaces, making it ideal for short trips. Shenzhen beat out other contenders such as Hanoi, Seoul, and Taipei in this category.
