Bangladesh Honda begins motorcycle exports to Mexico

Bangladesh Honda Private Limited (BHL) has initiated exports of the Honda NX200 motorcycle to Mexico, marking a significant step in the company's global outreach. This new market follows BHL's successful earlier exports to Guatemala, further solidifying its position within Honda's international production framework.

The venture, a joint effort between Bangladesh Steel and Engineering Corporation (BSEC) and Japan's Honda Motor Co., underscores Bangladesh's growing capacity to produce motorcycles that meet stringent global quality standards. BHL views these exports as a crucial element in diversifying the country's export base, strengthening domestic supply chains, and boosting employment within the manufacturing sector.

Looking ahead, Bangladesh Honda aims to enhance local sourcing and manufacturing competitiveness. The company plans to expand its export operations in alignment with Honda's overarching global production strategy. BHL also extended its gratitude to various government agencies, customs authorities, and financial institutions for their instrumental support in facilitating these export endeavors.
