Baptist Academy Old Students Association Honors 170 Alumni with Order of Excellence

The Baptist Academy Old Students Association (BAOSA) has recognized 170 alumni for their distinguished achievements across various fields. The honorees include prominent figures such as the Leader of the Senate, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, and Senator Tokunbo Abiru. BAOSA Global President Olumide Ajomale stated the initiative aims to honor excellence and preserve legacies, reflecting the school's core values of excellence, character, leadership, service, and distinction. These individuals, who passed through the school from its inception until 2025, embody the academy's enduring principles. Ajomale emphasized that the recognition serves as a permanent record, ensuring that the honorees' contributions are physically and symbolically inscribed within the school's heart. This, he believes, will inspire current students by showcasing the legacy of those who walked the same corridors. The list of honorees spans various eras and professions, including statesmen like Dr. Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe and Chief Victor Olabisi Onabanjo, and notable military officers like Group Captain James Ogunro.
