Barcelona and PSG reach preliminary agreement for Ferran Torres transfer

FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly reached a preliminary agreement for the transfer of Spanish forward Ferran Torres, with the deal expected to be finalized for around 50 million euros. Sources close to the negotiations confirmed to EFE that both clubs will exchange the necessary documentation in the coming hours, aiming to seal the transfer definitively this weekend.

The negotiations concluded swiftly after Barcelona's board learned last week of the attacker's strong desire to join the French club. Despite Barcelona initially rejecting an offer of 40 million euros plus 10 million in variables, both parties have now agreed on a guaranteed 50 million euro transfer fee.

Given the imminent agreement, Barcelona allowed Ferran Torres to miss preseason training on Wednesday, granting him permission to finalize his future. At Paris Saint-Germain, the Spanish international will reunite with manager Luis Enrique, who previously showed strong confidence in him during his tenure with the national team.
