Barcelona confirms 2026-27 squad numbers with several changes

Barcelona has assigned its shirt numbers for the 2026-27 season, with several familiar names changing numbers and a group of new arrivals learning which digits they will wear.

Joan Garcia will move from No. 13 to No. 1, while Fermín López will exchange No. 16 for No. 7. Wojciech Szczesny will take No. 13 instead of No. 25.

Among the incoming players, Dominik Livakovic will wear No. 25, Joao Cancelo has chosen No. 2 and Rodrigo Hernández will take No. 16. The club’s forwards Gabriel Jesus, Karim Adeyemi and Anthony Gordon will wear Nos. 9, 14 and 17, respectively.

Young players also feature in the new list. Brian Fariñas will wear No. 4 and Xavi Espart No. 12 after receiving first-team registration. Reserve players Jesse Bisiwu and Hamza Abdelkarim, who are training with the senior squad, will use Nos. 27 and 29.

The rest of the squad keeps last season’s numbers. Lamine Yamal remains No. 10, with Raphinha No. 11 and Roony No. 19. Gavi, Pedri and Dani Olmo retain Nos. 6, 8 and 20, while Alejandro Balde, Pau Cubarsí and Andreas Christensen keep Nos. 3, 5 and 15.
