Barcelona Signs German Winger Karim Adeyemi from Dortmund

FC Barcelona has secured its second signing for the 2026-27 season, bringing in German winger Karim Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund. The 24-year-old attacker has agreed to a contract that runs until June 30, 2031, following a discreet medical examination in Barcelona.

Adeyemi arrives from Dortmund, where he spent the last four seasons, for a transfer fee of 22 million euros, with an additional 7 million euros in potential performance-based variables. The deal was finalized after resolving minor contractual differences between the clubs. Adeyemi had one year remaining on his contract with Dortmund, making the transfer a negotiated departure rather than a free agent acquisition.

This signing holds particular significance for Barcelona coach Hansi Flick, who previously managed Adeyemi in the German national team and gave him his senior debut.
