Barcelona turn down PSG’s €40m offer for Torres

Barcelona has turned down an initial offer from Paris Saint-Germain for Spanish forward Ferran Torres. The French club's bid was reportedly around 40 million euros ($46.2 million), according to a source within the Catalan club speaking to AFP.

Despite the rejection of the first offer, negotiations between Barcelona and PSG are said to be continuing. Spanish media reports suggest that Torres, who scored the winning goal in the 2026 World Cup final, has already agreed to terms with PSG and its coach Luis Enrique, his former national team manager.

Torres, 26, is under contract with Barcelona until June 2027. He has remained non-committal about his future in recent interviews while on a promotional tour in the United States.
