Barracas Central's stadium lighting inauguration was overshadowed by a significant power outage that delayed the start of their match against Rosario Central by 35 minutes. The lights, intended to illuminate the newly upgraded Claudio Chiqui Tapia stadium, failed to ignite due to a technical and electrical issue.

Referee Pablo Dóvalo informed TNT Sports Premium that the problem was with the "board" and expected a quick fix. During the unexpected delay, Rosario Central's coach, Jorge Almirón, used the time to make a last-minute substitution, bringing in Vicente Pizarro for Federico Navarro. Almirón also opted to rest key players, including Ángel Di María, ahead of their upcoming Copa Libertadores second-leg match against Corinthians in Brazil.

Despite the disruptions, the match proceeded, with Rosario Central ultimately securing a 1-0 victory thanks to a goal from Alan Rodríguez. The game also saw the introduction of new players for Rosario Central, including Paraguayan defender Sebastián Zaracho and midfielder Alan Rodríguez.
