Batista Cadillac prepares for Ljubljana concert and new album

Slovenian band Batista Cadillac is gearing up for a significant concert at the renowned Križanke venue in Ljubljana on September 17. The performance marks a logical next step for the group, following their rise to national prominence.

Simultaneously, the band is in the process of creating their second album. Lead singers Urban Lutman and Matija Koritnik revealed that the album is nearly complete, with plans to release the remaining tracks leading up to the Križanke concert. Three songs have already been made public, and the full album will feature a total of nine tracks.

Batista Cadillac first captured the attention of Slovenia during their appearance on the talent show "Slovenija ima talent," where they received a golden buzzer from judge Marjetka Vovk. They further showcased their music at EMA, the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, with their song "Mim pravil."

Lutman and Koritnik, the singer and guitarist respectively, have a long-standing connection, having known each other since childhood. Their journey from observing the world from their wheelchairs to performing on national stages highlights their resilience and artistic drive. The upcoming concert and new album signal a continued evolution for the band as they engage with their growing audience.
