Batman transforms Sultanes' uniform into a collection

A unique collaboration has emerged as New Era partners with the Sultanes de Monterrey, a historic Mexican baseball team, to create a collection inspired by the iconic DC superhero, Batman. This marks the first official instance of Batman appearing on the uniform of the Sultanes, blending elements of sport, fashion, and pop culture.

The "Batman Vintage 66" collection draws inspiration from the classic 1960s television series, capturing the nostalgic and colorful aesthetic of the character. The designs reinterpret Batman's imagery through the identity of the Sultanes, known as the "Grey Ghosts." The resulting apparel features jerseys and caps where Gotham City's emblem, the bat, is integrated with the Sultanes' logo, creating pieces that evoke both vintage comics and modern streetwear.

Key design elements include navy blue, black, and yellow tones, along with the classic retro Batman logo. The collection incorporates embroidered details and typography reminiscent of classic comic books, celebrating Batman's enduring appeal beyond film and comics. The iconic 59FIFTY silhouette, the official cap of professional baseball, is featured alongside the 39THIRTY model, both adorned with exclusive elements that fuse the Sultanes' identity with the DC hero's aesthetic.

Players debuted the special uniform during a series against the Toros de Tijuana from July 10-12, transforming the baseball field into a stage where sports and pop culture converge. For over 80 years, Batman has symbolized resilience, mystery, and style, while the Sultanes de Monterrey hold a significant place in Mexican baseball history. This collaboration, available at New Era's official store at Palacio Sultán, newera.mx, and select retail locations, showcases New Era's ability to connect diverse universes.
