BBNaija S11: Chimsom wins Head of House again, 14 face eviction

Anambra-born pharmacist and actor Chimsom Chuka has emerged as the Head of House for the second time in the ongoing Big Brother Naija Season 11 "Show Ya Sef" edition. Chimsom secured the title on Monday night after defeating Gerard in the final head-to-head contest, earning him immunity from this week's eviction nominations.

The reality show announced his victory on its official social media platforms, noting that Chimsom had made it clear "one HoH win was not enough" after claiming the title for the second time this season. His latest win follows his earlier Head of House victory in the first week of the competition.

Meanwhile, the week's nomination process has resulted in a large group of housemates facing possible eviction. Chimsom exercised his veto power to save Sheba, who had received the highest number of votes in the nomination faceoff. During this process, housemates publicly named two fellow contestants they wished to save and explained their reasons.

As a result of Chimsom's save, he, Abi, and Sheba are exempt from this week's eviction nominations. Abi retained her immunity after being named the Most Influential Player of the Week following Cassi's eviction on Sunday. Aikou and Flora, introduced as season Gambits, are also protected. This leaves the remaining eligible housemates up for possible eviction, setting the stage for audience voting and Sunday's live eviction show. With 19 housemates remaining after Cassi's departure, voting is open until Thursday at 9 pm WAT via the MyDStv and MyGOtv apps and the Africa Magic website. The winner of BBNaija Season 11 will receive a record ₦160 million grand prize package, including ₦100 million in cash, an SUV, and other sponsor prizes.
