BBNaija Season 11 premieres today with ₦160m grand prize

Africa's most-watched reality television show, Big Brother Naija, returns today for its 11th season, promising viewers an even more captivating experience. The premiere airs on Sunday, July 26, 2026, featuring a staggering grand prize of ₦160 million, the highest in the show's history since its debut in 2006.

Fans can tune in to watch the launch show at 7 p.m. on Africa Magic Showcase and Africa Magic Family. For round-the-clock viewing, the 24-hour live broadcast will be accessible on DStv Channel 198 and GOtv Channel 49. Additionally, the show will be available for live streaming on the DStv Stream and GOtv Stream platforms, ensuring accessibility for a wide audience.

The ultimate winner will receive a grand prize package that includes ₦100 million in cash and a brand-new SUV, bringing the total prize value to the record ₦160 million. Preparations for the season commenced earlier this year with physical auditions held in Lagos, Abuja, and Enugu from May 22 to 24. Participation was free and open to Nigerians aged 21 and above with valid identification. The show will once again be hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, who is set to guide the housemates through strategic gameplay, challenging tasks, unexpected twists, and dramatic interactions.

This new season follows the success of Big Brother Naija Season 10, which concluded on October 5, 2025, with Opeyemi Ayanwale, known as Imisi, emerging as the winner. Imisi took home a prize package worth ₦150 million, including ₦80 million in cash and an SUV.
