Emir congratulates three Ilorin indigenes elevated to SAN

The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has extended congratulations to three legal practitioners from the Ilorin Emirate who have been elevated to the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).

The monarch lauded the conferment as a recognition of the recipients' hard work, diligence, and dedication to the legal profession. The Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee recently approved the elevation of these individuals, acknowledging their significant contributions to law and the administration of justice.

The rank of SAN is the highest mark of professional excellence conferred on legal practitioners who have distinguished themselves as advocates in the courts.

Among the newly confirmed SANs from Ilorin are the Kwara State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Sulyman Ibrahim; Barr. Mas’ud Alabelewe; and Barr. Mohammed Adelodun. The Emir emphasized that the SAN rank is the highest professional distinction for advocates in Nigeria.

Emir Sulu-Gambari encouraged the new Senior Advocates to maintain the integrity and standards of the legal profession. He expressed his joy on behalf of the Ilorin Emirate and Kwara State, praying for continued wisdom and success in their contributions to justice delivery and national development. He also commended the Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee for recognizing excellence.
