Big Brother Naija Season 11 has unveiled its "The Gambit" twist, naming Aikou and Flora as the first housemates to secure a guaranteed spot in the grand finale. This special role, however, comes with a significant condition: they are now excluded from competing for the season's record-breaking N160 million grand prize.

The selection was determined by public vote during Sunday's live show. Flora secured the female Gambit position with 29.38% of the votes, while Aikou claimed the male Gambit role with 9.10%. Other housemates like Ricky and Abi received fewer votes. The organizers announced the outcome on X, stating, "Voters have chosen The Gambit. Aikou and Flora are safe until the finale, but there’s one catch… they are no longer in the running for the N160 million grand prize."

Aikou, a 25-year-old freelance teacher and web developer from Abuja, is described as calm, strong, and outspoken. He is a self-confessed bookworm who is comfortable alone and seeks a new relationship, with little tolerance for dishonesty. Flora, a makeup entrepreneur from Delta State, is known for her love of fashion and confidence. She describes her love life as "complicated" and believes her honesty and bold personality will keep fellow housemates on their toes.
