BCL Appears Glamorous and Elegant in Kebaya, Welcoming the President of Belarus at the State Palace

Singer Bunga Citra Lestari, widely known as BCL, captivated attendees at the State Palace with her vocal performance and stunning attire during the state visit of the President of Belarus.

BCL donned an elegant earth-toned kebaya crafted by designer Intan Avantie. The traditional Indonesian garment featured a white ivory brocade top with a distinctive boat-neckline, characterized by its wide, horizontal curve resembling a boat. Intan Avantie utilized this neckline to showcase intricate brocade embroidery, enhancing the garment's traditional appeal with a modern sensibility.

The kebaya's design extended to the lower body, with elaborate brocade patterns accentuating BCL's figure and flowing towards the mid-lower abdomen. Decorative tassels added a touch of luxury. This was paired with a brown batik fabric skirt, tailored in a mermaid silhouette that hugged her form and featured a modern slit extending to below the knee, adding a contemporary flair.

To complement the richly patterned kebaya and skirt, BCL wore a brown sash draped over her left shoulder, secured with a gold brooch. Her hair was styled by Arnold Dominggus into a traditional konde (updo), adorned with an intricately carved hairpin. Gold earrings featuring light blue pearls added to the traditional aesthetic. Fashion stylist Angela Suri Nasution completed the look with nude-gold strappy high heels, achieving a modern yet understated elegance.

Makeup artist Mercia Dewi, also known as Bumiauw, applied a soft glam look, emphasizing BCL's eyes with minimalist touches. Brown eyeshadow, eyeliner, and lashes defined her eyes, while grey-brown contact lenses enhanced her natural beauty, creating a mesmerizing gaze.
