Following the sighting, the president of the Olympiada Community issued an urgent announcement. The bear was reportedly seen at the entrance of the village from the Galateia side around 11:00 PM. Local authorities are now appealing to residents to remain vigilant and refrain from any attempts to approach or disturb the animal.

The announcement specifically advises residents to be extremely cautious and avoid approaching the bear if it appears again. Increased vigilance is recommended, particularly during the evening and night hours, to ensure everyone's safety. Residents are urged to immediately inform the Community President if they spot the bear or find any related signs.
