Beccacece Offered Bolivian National Team Coaching Job, Reports Say

Sebastián Beccacece, the Argentine coach who previously led Ecuador's national team, has reportedly been offered the coaching position for the Bolivian national football team. According to Ecuadorian media outlets Bolavip and El Futbolero, Beccacece was presented as an alternative to the Bolivian Football Federation (FBF) should current coach Óscar Villegas depart.

A key difference highlighted by the reports is the proposed salary. Beccacece's potential contract with Bolivia is estimated to be around USD 1.5 million per season, a notable decrease from the USD 2.4 million he earned during his time with Ecuador.

This offer comes as Beccacece has not yet decided whether to continue his career with a national team or return to club management. His experience as a national team coach began with Ecuador. Prior to that, he managed various clubs in South America and had a stint in Spanish football.

Bolivia is currently preparing for future international tournaments under Villegas's guidance. The South American qualifiers for the World Cup are set to resume in 2027, with the next major continental event being the Copa América in 2028.
