Belgrade Man Arrested in Novi Sad on Multiple Warrants, Found with Gun and Drugs

Novi Sad police apprehended a 45-year-old man from Belgrade, identified as N.A., who was the subject of several outstanding warrants. The arrest occurred as authorities were pursuing him for alleged involvement in illegal manufacturing, possession, carrying, and trafficking of weapons and explosives, as well as document forgery.

During the apprehension, officers discovered a loaded pistol with a round in the chamber in the suspect's possession. A subsequent search revealed additional items, including body armor, 17 rounds of 7.65mm pistol ammunition, one 7.62mm rifle round, and a digital scale with traces of a white powdery substance believed to be amphetamine. A forged driver's license was also found.

The suspect is being transferred to the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Novi Sad, where he will face criminal charges related to the discovered weapons, ammunition, and forged documents.
