Belgrade Public Transport Routes Adjusted Due to Takovska Street Works

Belgrade residents should prepare for disruptions to their daily commutes as several public transport lines will undergo temporary route changes. These alterations, effective from today until April 17, are necessitated by ongoing roadworks in Takovska Street, which will see a section of the street closed to traffic between Džordža Vašingtona and Svetogorska streets.

The Secretariat for Public Transport has announced the suspension of trolleybus lines 28 and 40. In their place, a new bus line, 28A, will operate, following a specific route that includes Studentski trg, Vase Čarapića, Makedonska, Braće Jugović, Bulevar despota Stefana, and Takovska, before continuing on the regular route of the former line 28. Additionally, line 23 will see its route adjusted in both directions to accommodate the closures, as will line 304N.

Commuters are advised that vehicles on the modified routes will utilize existing stops as well as a newly established temporary stop named '27. marta' in Takovska Street. This stop will be located approximately 50 meters past the intersection with Dalmatinska Street, heading towards Vidikovac and Studentski trg. Travelers are encouraged to stay informed about these changes to minimize inconvenience during their journeys.
