Bennett losing ground as Eisenkot, Netanyahu neck-and-neck for upcoming elections - poll

A recent Channel 13 News poll shows a shift in Israeli political support, with Benjamin Netanyahu and Gadi Eisenkot each projected to win 23 seats if elections were held today. This represents a two-seat increase for both parties compared to previous polls.

Naftali Bennett's "Together" party continues to lose ground, reaching a new low with only 13 seats. Other parties also saw shifts: Yisrael Beytenu garnered 10 seats, The Democrats fell to nine, and United Torah Judaism tied at nine seats. Otzma Yehudit secured eight seats, Shas seven, and Ra’am five.

The poll also examined voter certainty regarding political blocs. Forty-nine percent of respondents expressed certainty in voting for the opposition bloc, while 35% supported the coalition bloc. Ten percent remained undecided, and 6% identified as swing voters.

In head-to-head matchups for prime minister, Eisenkot led Netanyahu 47% to 36%. When pitted against Bennett, Netanyahu also held an advantage, with 45% favoring Bennett and 40% for Netanyahu.
