Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar! party has compelled Yonatan Urich, a close associate of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, to remove an AI-generated video. The video depicted U.S. President Donald Trump and Netanyahu making jokes in Hebrew at Eisenkot's expense.

Urich initially posted the video on X/Twitter but subsequently deleted it after receiving a warning letter from Eisenkot's legal team, signaling potential legal action. Sources close to Eisenkot indicated that while Urich posted the video, the voices used were those of Netanyahu and the Likud party.

The letter from Eisenkot's attorney, Uri Haberman, expressed regret that the occasion was used to "spread poison and venom" instead of focusing on diplomatic achievements. It emphasized that prime ministers should represent Israel with dignity abroad.

This incident is the latest in a series of controversies involving AI-generated content. Last week, Netanyahu's official X account posted a video that caused significant public outrage. This video featured a young man resembling Eisenkot's deceased son, Gal, who was killed in Gaza, running towards Eisenkot and being embraced by Mansour Abbas. A poll by Walla indicated that 75% of respondents believed this video had crossed a line.
