Benue governor celebrates Muslim faithful on Eid-el-Kabir

Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful celebrating Eid-el-Kabir. In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Kula Tersoo, the governor described the festival as a "blessed and glorious" occasion for Muslims to worship God and exhibit unwavering dedication.

Eid al-Adha festival is a blessed and glorious festival through which Muslims worship God and show complete dedication to Him.

Governor Alia took the opportunity to call for increased support for both the state government and Nigeria as a whole. He also appealed for continued prayers for all leaders, emphasizing their importance in guiding the nation. The governor expressed his appreciation for the consistent support his administration has received from Muslims within Benue State.

He further highlighted the peaceful coexistence of individuals from diverse religious backgrounds in the state, describing it as a source of pride and a testament to shared values of tolerance, respect, and unity. Governor Alia reassured the residents that his administration remains committed to prioritizing their interests and well-being, promising to pursue accelerated and sustainable development for the people of Benue State.
