Betawi Ulama and Habaib Commemoration Event to be Held at Jakarta's Monas Plaza

Jakarta's provincial government, in collaboration with prominent figures, ulama, and habaib, will host the 2026 Betawi Ulama and Habaib Haul event this Friday afternoon at the southern Plaza Monas. The commemoration is scheduled to run from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM WIB.

The event will feature devotional prayers led by Habib Syekh bin Abdul Qodir Assegaf. According to an announcement on the official Instagram account of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, the gathering is expected to be attended by Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo and Deputy Governor Rano Karno, as well as other respected religious leaders from the capital.

This gathering serves not only as a remembrance of the contributions of Betawi ulama and habaib but also as an opportunity to strengthen Islamic brotherhood and reinforce the religious traditions that have long been established within Jakarta's community.
