Biden Accuses Trump of Corruption, Undermining NATO

Speaking at a Democratic Party event in Maryland, former U.S. President Joe Biden launched a sharp attack on Donald Trump, accusing him of corruption and damaging the NATO alliance. Biden asserted that Trump consistently chose Vladimir Putin over American allies and diminished the United States' global standing more than any other president in history.

Biden characterized Trump's actions as driven by narcissism and vanity. He cited examples such as altering the Kennedy Center's name and proposing a "Triumphal Arc" in Washington D.C. The former vice president under Barack Obama also alleged that Trump hired a personal contractor for a nearly $15 million project to renovate the Lincoln Memorial's reflecting pool, awarding the contract without a bid to a donor from Florida.

It's corruption, brazen, blatant corruption, corruption on a scale unseen in any other administration.

"What a loser!" Biden exclaimed, summarizing his view of Trump. He went further, suggesting that Trump's administration was motivated by "brazen, blatant corruption" on an unprecedented scale. Biden expressed astonishment that Trump has reportedly earned billions of dollars since returning to the White House, stating, "He has no shame." He posited that profiting from the presidency is a primary reason Trump seeks the office.

Biden also voiced strong disapproval of Trump's alleged plans to allocate taxpayer money to individuals involved in the January 6th Capitol riots. He specifically mentioned a proposed $1.7 billion fund intended to compensate those facing prosecution for political reasons during the Biden administration. Biden firmly stated that participants in the Capitol attack should not receive any compensation and belong in prison.

But you know what? It's not even the corruption and the money that angers me the most. What angers me are Trump's plans to give taxpayer money, your money, to the participants of the January 6th riots.
